For VRChat & 3D avatar creators

The SDK broke your avatar.

PatchPing tracks who bought which version — so an update never means emailing everyone, or no one.

VRChat SDK 3.6.0Breaking changes

It's 2am and your DMs are filling up.

A new VRChat SDK dropped. Your avatar from eight months ago — the one 1,400 people bought — now throws an error on upload. About 300 of them are on the old version. You know the fix. You just can't reach those 300.

Gumroad, Booth and itch.io only let you message everyone at once. There's no way to filter to the people who bought the specific product version that broke. So you pick a bad option: blast 1,400 buyers about a problem 1,100 of them don't have, or post a Discord message and hope the right people scroll far enough.

Either way, the person who paid you money finds out from a refund request instead of from you.

Your buyer list already knows who's affected.

PatchPing keeps track of which product version every customer actually bought. When something breaks, you tag the version — and the right list builds itself. One message, only to the people affected, in seconds.

How it works

  1. 01

    Connect your sales history

Link Gumroad, Booth or itch.io. PatchPing imports your past orders — buyer, product, and the version they downloaded.

  2. 02

    Tag what broke

Pick the product and the version range an update affects. "Avatar v1.0–v1.3, SDK 3.5 and earlier."

  3. 03

    We find the affected buyers

PatchPing matches that version range against every order and builds the exact list — no spreadsheets, no guessing.

  4. 04

    Send one notification

Write it once, hit send. It reaches only the people who need it, with the fix or updated file attached.

Next SDK update, be the one who told them.

PatchPing is in early access. Join the list and we'll bring you in as we open up slots for creators.
